Following a six-year absence due to Covid the Intermat show returns. Billed as ‘the exhibition for sustainable construction solutions and technology’ this year’s edition will focus on sustainability with ‘low-carbon’ being a key theme of the event. To explore this theme the organisers say the show is organised around four key pillars: innovation, energy, new equations, and corporate social responsibility (CSR) commitments.

Nearly 1,000 exhibitors are expected offering construction materials, equipment and solutions for major worksites, public works and the building industry.

To help visitor navigate the show and find the areas of most relevance to their areas of interest the showground has been divided into five key clusters: 1) New for 2024 is the new technologies and energies area. 2) Earthmoving, demolition and transportation. 3) Roads, minerals & foundations. 4) Building, Civil Engineering & Concrete Industry. 5) Last but not least, lifting & handling.

To further help Cranes Today readers navigate the show we have complied a breakdown of lifting and abnormal transport related exhibitors. We’ll see you there…

This allows the crane to handle larger construction projects as well. If the hook height still isn’t sufficient, a 30° luffed jib position enables the crane to reach a hook height of 66 m.

The crane has a maximum load capacity of 8,000 kg and can lift up to 1,300 kg with the jib head at a radius of 55 m. Its exceptional flexibility is also demonstrated by its five radius options, ranging from 35 m to 55 m. The fast-erecting crane can be transported to site by trailer or semi-trailer with the appropriate axles. It travels as a complete unit so that it can be erected directly on site.

No other tools are needed as assembly is achieved by means of low-maintenance rope kinematics.
