Developed by Japanese manufacturers Furukawa Unic, the Eco-095 and the higher capacity 2.9t Eco-295 model are the first wheeled mini cranes in production and offer fume-free and noise-free lifting in enclosed, restricted access areas. These environmentally-friendly compact machines feature a rechargeable 48v battery which provides power for 2.5 hours of continuous operation.

The Eco-095 and Eco-295 zero emissions cranes are ideal for completing lifting tasks with minimum disruption to the surrounding atmosphere in a variety of sensitive working locations such as food processing plants, listed buildings, museums and galleries, shopping centres, airports, hospitals and other clean environments.

With the minimal dimensions and lifting power of standard UNIC mini crane models, the 750mm wide Eco-095 and Eco-295 cranes can be easily transported in a goods elevator, moved through a standard doorway and controlled using radio remote. These unique electrically powered cranes have low marking wheels instead of tracks for ultimate manoeuvrability when working on polished or light coloured floor surfaces.

The company is also exhibiting eight other UNIC mini spider crane models, including the world’s most compact crane, the 600mm wide UNIC URW-094 and the highest capacity spider in the UNIC range, the 10 tonne UNIC URW-1006.
